Now 大S is getting married with a "2nd generation rich". I wish them happy. But maybe just me, I can't imagine how to live with a person I only know for a few months.

What happened to other female celebrities? I found they rarely have happy marriages. (These are only my vague memories, so I could be wrong.)

张曼玉 divorced several times.

林青霞 bad relationship with her husband because she couldn't bear a son. How unfair!

钟楚红 Her husband died of cancer if I remember correctly.

It's quite easy to pick out examples of celebs with unhappy marriages, but there are lots who seem to do ok. 小S seems to have a very happy marriage with her husband - she's always mentioning him on 康熙来了. I suppose that strictly speaking she's not an actress though...

My girlfriend mentioned this to me too, poor Barbie has been all ups and downs in her love life it seems. She's just been unfortunate, but on the other hand I read somewhere that she was rather adamant about dating within the entertainment industry, so her choices would have been limited if that were the case before. My girlfriend says such a 闪婚 would be a gamble in happiness or not, but let's hope it goes well this time.

I'd think it's hard to judge that someone is happy, but it is easy to determine that someone was unhappy--if the marriage ended.

Nobody said or implied that, I don't think. The OP included some single actresses on his list... but can you deny that single people don't have happy marriages?
