Charity Event this Saturday! (November 6th)

This Saturday, the 6th of November, there will be a charity event held for a local mental hospital who has been put under a lot of strain due to the 2008 Olympics Constructions, aside from the normal strains of running this kind of a facitlity in a country where mental illness is not really understood yet.

Please join us as we Cycle for Charity, raising some money to help furnish the new location of the hospital for winter.

We start this Saturday at 1 pm from the Forbidden City, and cycle to the Fragrant Hills Park. Cycle time is about 3.5 hours.

The 150 RMB registration fee includes a bike and transportation back to the city, and all profits go directly to the owner of the hospital who will be there at the end of the trip. Other donations, such as blankets and clothes, are also welcome.
