molihua Posted November 5, 2004 at 01:50 PM Report Posted November 5, 2004 at 01:50 PM Hi, any comments for: 1. Beijing Union University (Beijing Lianhe Daxue) 2. Beijing Foreign Studies University (Beijing waiguoyu xueyuan) 3. Beijing College of Chinese Language and Culture (Beijing huawen xueyuan) I’m going to learn Chinese next year in China, most likely in Beijing. I’ve done some researches, but cannot find any helpful websites for the above universities. I’ll really appreciate any inputs, opinion, comments or anything about them. Thanks a lot Cheers Quote
roddy Posted July 6, 2005 at 09:31 PM Report Posted July 6, 2005 at 09:31 PM 2 and 3 have been covered on here before - could be tricky to find, as I'm not sure whether you need to search for the Chinese, english or pinyin, but there are previous posts that will help you. 1, I've never heard of. bingunginter Posted September 1, 2006 at 12:58 AM Report Posted September 1, 2006 at 12:58 AM Can anybody share some information or experience about chinese language program in BUU (Beijing Union University). The only thing I heard is their price is very cheap(+/- us$1800 for 1 yr) compare to other bigger university like blcu, tsingha. But how is the quality compare to them or even private school like Diqiucun. I am planning to be in china from jan to august. Quote

Yellowfroggy Posted September 4, 2006 at 08:11 PM Report Posted September 4, 2006 at 08:11 PM For Beijing Union University, check this link : http://www.ygi.edu.cn/gjhz/english/LC/lc_1.htm If it doesn't work, just type "casbuu" in google. You will find the description of the program as well as the prices. They are of a good value indeed. I am going there next week anyway so I will give you my impression on it. One of the good thing for sure is that there should be less foreigners than in other unis. Quote
