m0m0 Posted November 6, 2004 at 05:05 AM Report Posted November 6, 2004 at 05:05 AM I have an Associates of Applied Science in Computer Network Administration. While it is only a 2 year degree, it is still a degree nonetheless. From what I have read, it can be difficult to find legitimate work without a degree of some sort. My question is: does an Associates degree qualify me to find legitimate work in China, specifically Beijing or Shanghai? I also have a few Microsoft/Oracle certifications to go along with that. I'm not necessarily looking to find work in the computer/networking industry (although it would be nice). I would be perfectly satisfied with teaching or doing something else, as long as I can get something near the average salary (more or less). I am looking to move to Beijing or Shanghai in the near future (6-8 months) and there is no possible way I can finish a Bachelors that fast, so I am hoping that an AAS can get me something decent. Any thoughts/suggestions are welcome. Quote
roddy Posted November 8, 2004 at 08:21 AM Report Posted November 8, 2004 at 08:21 AM I'm sure you'd be able to find something - it might not be the best job in China, but it'll pay you a living wage. If you are willing to teach, there will be people willing to employ you. Roddy Quote
