China Post has decent posting-cost calculators on its tariff pages, so you can work out what it would cost to send stuff. That said - if you have the allowance you need for the international section and onwards, then possibly there's not so much difference between paying the domestic excess luggage costs and the international shipping costs. Not sure how it would work out, but you'd save having to wait for your stuff to turn up.

There is now a certain type of train in the Netherlands that doesn't have a toilet. Unfortunately, the Dutch train system is also plagued by delays. Predictably, passengers resort to peeing in the train. Ryanair may find out that despite there being no law prescribing free toilets on planes, there are good reasons for keeping them anyway.
