The taste isn't so bad (after five years of drinking it), but the crash I experience after a cup or two is pretty bad. I don't remember ever crashing from Maxwell House which I drank back home, so I'm looking into getting a coffee marker and some coffee grind off Taobao. Does anyone have any brand recommendations that Taobao offers? Coffee beans would be okay as well, though I'd then need a grinder. Any recommendations appreciated! It still gives you the South American cultural aspect that coffee gives you, but with a bit of a NYC twist. Other than that, not sure. Not much of a coffee drinker. Or, a french press is easy. Then all you have to do is stroll across to a place like Hamamas once a week and ask to buy some beans from them. I'm sure they would be happy to grind it for you.
