wix Posted November 9, 2004 at 10:56 AM Report Posted November 9, 2004 at 10:56 AM Roz, I am intrigued by the fact you plan to ride a unicycle. How do you carry your equipment while riding? What is your average speed on a flat road? How do you go on the hills? Sorry I won't be able to join you though. Quote
roz Posted November 9, 2004 at 02:55 PM Author Report Posted November 9, 2004 at 02:55 PM Actually I'm new to long-distance unicycling too (I usually just play unicycle hockey) - so I'm not sure of the answer to your questions. I've been told that you can get up to 15kph on the flat. Hills are difficult as there are no gears - but I can always push my unicycle up the tough hills if I have to! I got my touring unicycle a few weeks ago but no computer yet so I can't measure my speed. If you follow the links at the bottom of the webpage - you can find descriptions of other tours which can probably answer your questions. cheers Roz Quote
