When I was watching TV today, I thought they said "Facebook" (非死不可)

It was pretty funny at the time, so I just thought I'd share. :P

Perhaps other people have similar stories.

That's aptly named, considering it has effectively been killed in China.

Not a name. It was just a sentence in a TV series (孔雀翎). I was sort of half watching and I thought I heard someone say along the lines of 他为什么Facebook! and was a bit surprised.

I once heard these, a conversation between two persons:

A: 有机个人可以来我的"party"? (How many people is coming to my party?)

B: 全部来 (ALL is coming. But A understood it as “全 不来" (NONE is coming! He thought "全" means "all"))

(I got to be going)

(I will come at once to send you)

(A understood “马 上” as B coming with a horse!)

Here's a recent 臉書 (yet another name for Facebook) comment from one of my friends:

『放到"非死不可"上,讓大家評評理,看看是什麼慘絕人寰的場景讓我真的是感到"非死不可"......』

It also aptly describes my attitude towards the website :)
