I'm struggling with the lines “文綵双鸳鸯，裁为合懽被。著以长相思，缘以结不解。” I didn't think that the two couplets were directly linked until I found them mentioned together at http://www.zdic.net/cd/ci/4/ZdicE9Zdic95ZdicBF262177.htm If anyone has an idea of how to translate these lines I'd be grateful to hear it. The lines are about a quilt with ducks embroidered on it, as I suspected. But the last two I still can't figure out exactly. I'm also still confused by exactly what a 合懽被 is, as well.
