Konglong Posted November 12, 2004 at 04:32 AM Report Posted November 12, 2004 at 04:32 AM Trillian has a nice plugin for RSS feeds that works great. www.trillian.cc Quote
Jamie Posted November 12, 2004 at 05:46 AM Report Posted November 12, 2004 at 05:46 AM I use RssReader. http://www.rssreader.com/ It's the only RSS reader that I've used so I couldn't say how it compares to others. It works great, is simple to use, and there are no problems displaying characters. Quote

geek_frappa Posted November 12, 2004 at 12:12 PM Author Report Posted November 12, 2004 at 12:12 PM What is RSS? Good question. RSS ("Really Simple Syndication") is an XML-based format for distributing and aggregating Web content, such as news headlines, blogs, and forums. RSS allows web developers and content providers to easily create and distribute such information. (The technical name is actually RDF Site Summary.) Quote

Yun Feng Posted November 13, 2004 at 08:21 PM Report Posted November 13, 2004 at 08:21 PM Hello, RSSOwl is also good, as well as Thunderbird. Firefox also allows you to add a feed as a bookmark. I dont find it very practical, but it might be useful if you only follow one or two feeds. AmphetaDesk is also a neat idea. Quote
