Jose Posted November 12, 2004 at 02:15 PM Report Posted November 12, 2004 at 02:15 PM I understand that Chairman Mao spoke Mandarin with a thick Hunan accent. Since I've never heard the man speak, I was wondering if anyone knows whether there are any recordings of his voice available on the Internet. I'm curious as to what his accent was like. Is it hard for Chinese people to understand his pronunciation? Quote

Good example of the kind of pointless post that makes me want to press the big red deactivation button. Now lets see if I get called a Maoist or a Fascist for this one . . . Roddy Quote
