I was searching for information for this thread when I found these two websites, which I find very useful and helpful -

I had doubts about the many traditional forms I use which differ from the standard forms used by Taiwan (thus not as easy to type). And I am quite happy that the lists above have confirmed that those forms are indeed being taught in Hong Kong as the proper forms. Notably -

In addition to using the code point, one has to view characters with standardized typefaces, e.g. this is HK standard 電:

No way to type that with ROC standard typefaces.
