Hey guys I got a phrase translated last time for a tattoo of mine by the forum members here and I really liked the discussion and the work you guys did in translating, I really really do appreciate it.

Well I'm back again if you don't mind asking for help once again to get a couple phrases translated! Thanks in advance fellas.

Love for the chosen few.

The difficulty is not so great to die for a friend, as to find a friend worth dying for.

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain.

Blood is thicker than water.

In dwelling, live close to the ground. In thinking, keep to the simple. In conflict, be fair and generous. In governing, don't try to control. In work, do what you enjoy. In family life, be completely present. - Lao Tzu

I assume you want the original, not a translation.

30 second on google finds this page, which gives that quotation as from chapter 8, sentences 2 and 3 of the 道德經. Here is the complete text, I highlighted in bold what I think is the part you wanted.

上善若水。水善利萬物而不爭,處衆人之所惡,故幾於道。居善地,心善淵,與善仁,言善信,正善治,事善能,動善時。夫唯不爭,故無尤

Blood is thicker than water.
血濃於水 or 疏不見親

(The one in red is better for the literal meaning)

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
The closest I can get to this is: 失敗是成功之母 or 失敗乃成功之母 “Failure is the mother of success"

(I like the version in purple slighter more)
