c4oyu4n Posted February 6, 2011 at 12:14 AM Report Posted February 6, 2011 at 12:14 AM I've been trying to run the Video downloader from 56.com (http://www.56.com/ican/ican.html) on an english Windows 7 Home premium. Result was that the program starts seemingly normally but all characters are hotzed, which again would have been a case for applocale back in the days but according to wikipedia isn't so supported on Win7 http://en.wikipedia....wiki/AppLocale. Has anyone tried? There must be a better hotzaround... To be more precise: All Characters in the programs menu itself are broken, luanma. regards Quote

c4oyu4n Posted February 7, 2011 at 05:09 PM Author Report Posted February 7, 2011 at 05:09 PM No. I just found it: In Win7 you can change the system locale without additional software: control panel > region and language > administrative > change system locale Quote
