They are marked by (?) signs. If you have any suggestions/corrections, please inform me. Any help would be greatly appreciated *** 流鼻血的马 The nose-bleeding horse 原来，绝大多数的马都流过鼻血。 Originally, absolutely all horses suffered from nose bleeding. 驯马师说这是平常事，只是程度不同而已。 The broncobusters said this was the usual matter, only a degree differed a bit. 谁都不知道马什么时候流鼻血，连马自己也不知道。 No one could tell when a horse's nose would bleed, and horses themselves also could not tell it. 在赛事中，马赢得比赛才流鼻血，鞠躬尽瘁，已发挥了最大的能量， 人们为它捏一把汗； During a competition, a horse could run until its nose would start to bleed, it fought tooth and nail, while spectators were sweating in agitation (?) 中途流鼻血，马在阵上搏杀大概有所保留，马迷旁观，又欲哭无泪； If a nose bleeding occured in the middle of a distance, it could save the horse from defeat, spectators wanted to cry but had no tears (?) 没上场已流鼻血，不妨哪儿凉快哪儿去，再也不敢找你了。 If bleeding occured before the race, where could the horse go in order to calm and not being afraid to find you (?) 有没有从末参赛就流鼻血的马？ Is it possible at all for a horse with a nose bleeding to participate in a competition? (?) 若有，它的竞赛生涯已被画上问号， 或是句号 - 谁还敢言这个险呢？ If it's not true, then a horse's career can be marked with a question mark or even with a period - but who would dare to say such thing? (?) 所以，最好是把流鼻血的时间推迟。 Hence, the best option is to postpone the time of bleeding. 它可能因为操练过渡，心肺功能有损，毛细血管受压破裂，疲倦，策骑着力鞭 - 是的，皆有可能，无奈只有支撑到尽头。 Perhaps, during the exercises the heart and lungs of horse are subject to some harm, capillaries are getting tired and break under pressure; the horseman pinches the horse with a whip, falling over himself but his actions only anticipate the inevitable end (?) 一匹马，它生下来就是为了“跑”，这也是它最大的能耐。 A horse was born to run, and this is its mission, the most it's capable of. 不管在赛道上还是在草原上，最终也不外乎跑到老，跑到死，除此它还有何追求？ It doesn't matter whether it's on a race or on a pasture; either way the horse must run, run until death, what else can it do? (?) 难道向往养尊处优，高床软枕吗？ Should it seek a luxury life, to sleep on a bed and soft pillows? (?) 一生都不曾流鼻血的马？ Imagine a horse that never had a nose bleeding (?) 不代表它特别健康，它只是过分平安，平安又即平凡。 It doesn't mean that it has a exceptionally good health, it does mean that it has a common calm and tranquil nature (?) 这样的马不算 “马”，只是 “动物” 之一种。 Such horse can't be called the real horse, it's just a unit of a certain animal species (?) 即使惨烈，还是当一匹有机会流鼻血的马好。 If only this horse has a high probablity of nose bleeding (??) *** I understand that some of my guesses are pure nonsense, but I just couldn't come up with a more meaningful translations.
