You need to get a specific score to.... 你需要得到特定/一定的成绩来。。。。 2。You need to be among the three best students in the exam to... 你得考试考第三名以内来。。。。 I am not sure whether I need to use 一定/特定 for the first sentence and 以内 for the second here, but that all I ould come up with right now to express "specific" score and "among" the three best students. I can't really explain this grammatically....I just wrote down what sounded the best to me. I replaced the 来 in your sentences with 才能 or 才可以，again, I just thought it sounded nicer this way. You should also change the 第三名 to 前三名，I'm assuming you want to say something about the top 3 students, 第三名 refers SPECIFICALLY to the third best students, while 前三名 means top 3.
