Pengyou Posted February 17, 2011 at 05:53 PM Report Posted February 17, 2011 at 05:53 PM I have searched this site for software to use on XP to make flashcards (including graphics and sound) and then a program to put them on Android to use them but only found the latter part. Does someone have a program that they use on their pc to make flashcards that will work on software on an android powered phone? Quote
Normunds Posted February 18, 2011 at 08:26 AM Report Posted February 18, 2011 at 08:26 AM There is a plugin for Mnemosyne (http://www.mnemosyne-proj.org/) called Mnemododo (http://www.tbrk.org/software/mnemododo.html) that lets you export cards from Mnemosyne to use on Android. AFAIK, you can than later synchronize your learning info back with the PC version. It mentions graphics, but says nothing about sound; as they both should be treated in the same way - as separate files - it must work for the sound as well. I'm not using cards on the phone, so cannot comment on efficiency of this approach, but it's worth giving it a try. Quote
murrayjames Posted February 19, 2011 at 01:55 PM Report Posted February 19, 2011 at 01:55 PM +1 I love Mnemododo; I use it daily. Great for studying Chinese on the go. It does support sound as well as images. You can get in the Android store for about $3. More info here: http://www.tbrk.org/software/mnemogogo.html http://www.tbrk.org/software/mnemododo.html Quote
