turkeylegs Posted February 26, 2011 at 10:42 PM Report Posted February 26, 2011 at 10:42 PM Hi guys, I'm trying to plan my erasmus year in China. Hoping to spend some time visiting friends and travelling in China, starting from June, until my studies begin, in September. I hope to enter on a tourist visa. Then, towards September, go to Hong Kong and get my student visa sorted. I am Irish by the way. Is it possible for E.U citizens to get student visas (with all the relevant documents) done in Hong Kong? Or will I have to do it in Ireland? Thanks! Turkeylegs Quote
turkeylegs Posted March 2, 2011 at 03:25 PM Author Report Posted March 2, 2011 at 03:25 PM Hi again, Zhongshan university in Guangzhou just got back to me saying that, usually students have no problem obtaining student visas in H.K. but then again, there are some who are refused. Could anyone elaborate on why that might be? Cheers, Turkey Quote
