turkeylegs Posted March 5, 2011 at 06:38 PM Report Posted March 5, 2011 at 06:38 PM Hi guys, I'm in the process of trying to decided on which uni to study in for the erasmus year of my undergrad. I've narrowed it down to the northeast. My first choices are all in Haerbin but the unis there have been slow to get back to me with a letter of acceptance. I visited Yanji a few years ago and quite liked the place. I seem to remember people there speaking really clear, standard Mandarin but, again, it was a few years ago. Moreover, they were super fast to send out an letter of admission though I'm sure they do not deal with the same volume of applications as Haerbin. I'd be really grateful to get a few comments on what the courses there are like and if the spoken Mandarin there is as good as I seem to remember...at the moment, a lot of Jilin and Heilongjiang friends are making me think otherwise. All comments appreciated! Cheers! Turkey Quote
