歐博思 Posted March 17, 2011 at 02:15 PM Report Share Posted March 17, 2011 at 02:15 PM Hello members of Chinese Forums, first post here. I currently study Chinese at Qinghua University. When I buy things at the supermarket, sometimes the clerk will ask me if I would like a bag. "袋子?“ Now I can say ”袋子“ or ”是的” but in the same situation in English I may say "please [give me a bag]". I get the feeling that 请 cannot be used in this way. 我猜对了吗?

blackmeow Posted April 6, 2011 at 07:37 AM Report Share Posted April 6, 2011 at 07:37 AM yes ur right about this. a small hint, as u said u can use '袋子' or ‘是的(好的 are more fit this situation)’, but the catch is u can only use '袋子' before they asked u '袋子?', and if they've asked, u can only use '是的' or '好的'。
