Studying at Beijing Film Academy Sept 2011

I am probably going to be there, anyone else? I will be studying Chinese but also trying to get involved with films and tv stuff as that is my background.

WOuld be cool if anyone on here was going too.

Lucky you. Last year me and several others (I suppose everyone who did) applied for the CSC scholarship to get into the BFA and couldn't, being sent elsewhere completely, instead. According to a friend there the CSC and BFA were in a war over how the foreign students were being treated, and the foreign students themselves obviously were as well. But then again, none were paying, which is completely different. Must be a great environment, certainly the best for studying Film in China, I plan on visiting in a couple of weeks.

I am due to go here later this week. Anyone know what the foreigner intake per year is? Just curious if ill be in a class of like 5 or 30

hows your BFA experience going so far hht??...is it what you expected?

is the film program there for international students good? how is the selection process for international students like? Beijing Film Academy offers excellent programs for locals but I am not sure about the rest.
