Meng Lelan Posted May 20, 2011 at 09:17 PM Report Posted May 20, 2011 at 09:17 PM I was going through China Sprout ordering new texts for the fall and found "Imagine Yunnan: Basic Chinese Language and Culture". It uses lessons focusing on some aspect of Yunnan to teach the language. "Taiwan Today" is an intermediate text focusing on Taiwan. Now I wonder, are there other language textbooks that focus on a particular province, region, or city in China (other than Beijing which is getting tiresome). Anyone here have thoughts on this, any information to share? Quote
anonymoose Posted May 21, 2011 at 02:18 AM Report Posted May 21, 2011 at 02:18 AM I think I've seen some focusing on Shanghai, but they looked rather rubbish, so I didn't pay much attention to them. Quote
