hello people I read many topics in this fourums (since it's the first pages that jump in google search) and I'm not sure that this is the right place to ask and I hope not to get stoned because of that.

After being in china for my seconed time in my trip and fell on love with the language and the chinese people I decided to stay in china to study chinese for a peroid of atleast 1 year, the native will to do it in the best way possible and to sattle down fast caused it to be not fast at all because many ideas in one head cause a headeche and not create solutions :) sorry for this pretext.

I looked around chengdu - i know the prices of the apartments and everything need to know except this -> i wanna to study in SWUFE (if you have any comment about this Uni, please say so) but the thing is that the Uni is beyond the seconed ring road and I as I never lived in a big city (small town in the north of israel) and I wish to experience also the life in a big city like chengdu that the population of chengdu is more then all Israel.

By looking on what I wrote how should I choose where to live because I have a will to be involved as much as i can in what the city has to offer, is living byond the seconed ring road is ok? anywhere to only Chengdu?

to another question, I'm looking for something that will be with reasonble price, maybe there is better places to study chinese where I can afford it.

I'm looking for some advice and reccomondations about specific places and I will check it myself where there will be good studying with atleast 3-5 hours a day

where living costs will be reasonable, and work will be available like in chengdu most of the foreign students teach english in kindergardens but i understand that it's different in different cities.

I also checked in Tianjin I found a reasonable price and paying per month in the PRC Tianjin and I also visited there but i did not had the time to check for housing options there becauuse the lack of time an I had to get out of the country, their private badroom dorms cost 1500 and the city itself look very spread out and chilly, but I might be wrong.

all what I said I found it partialy in Chengdu but I hope that you can open my eyes a little bit with specific information, I already understand the conflict with the dialects and many questions I already asked before but this issues been left open or I just looking for some approval.

Now I'm in Hong kong and I stay here in a place where I can without being under pressure to choose and to do it right and mybe even solve it from here.

I'm deeply sorry for the long long post but I didn't want to be misunderstood, I hope you understand the difficulties which I go through for deciding moving my life for the next year to a new place and excitment is big :)

Thank you very much

Greg.
