Wondering if someone can help translate into Mandarin

I've asked quite a few people including my Chinese teacher (I'm nowhere near being advanced enough to figuring this out on my own!) and I seem to get a different answer every time. I need to know how one would translate "What is right?" and "What is wrong?" into Mandarin. The meaning of the questions are both in a moral manner such as looking at a situation and thinking what to do... you might ask yourself those questions.

Some of the answers I've gotten are:

怎么做才对 - What is right

那个是错的 - What is wrong

怎么搞的 - What is wrong

是非自有公论 - What is right

I'm so confused as to which is correct! I would appreciate any/all help. Thanks so much!

I think the first is best for right. For wrong I would say 怎么做是错的？ For some reason it doesn't sound as right as 怎么做才对。 I guess the reason is noone ever asks themselves how to do something wrong.

Maybe its best to link the two questions: 怎么做是对的？怎么做是错的？

I guess 'What is right' in Mandarin can be 什么是对的.

怎么做才是对的 in english should be 'What's the right thing to do'

'What is wrong' is similar, but in english it has another meaning 'what's the matter' ,so 怎么搞的 is also right. You can also translate it into 发生什么事了. And I guess the latter is better

是非自有公论 means that people know what's right and what's wrong
