KarinM Posted June 5, 2011 at 03:00 PM Report Share Posted June 5, 2011 at 03:00 PM Hi! Can I use my supplied power adapters for iPhone and my Mac computer in Beijing? Or do I have to buy new ones? What's the voltage in Beijing? Thanx in advance! Karin

KarinM Posted June 6, 2011 at 07:53 AM Author Report Share Posted June 6, 2011 at 07:53 AM Oh, sorry I forgot to tell that I'm from Sweden. We have the same voltage in Sweden.
abcdefg Posted June 6, 2011 at 01:32 PM Report Share Posted June 6, 2011 at 01:32 PM We have the same voltage in Sweden. And most Beijing hotels will furnish adapters on request that you can use to help your plugs fit. If you move to an apartment, they are for sale for only 10 or 20 Yuan. 插座 = chāzuò is the most common term.
jbradfor Posted June 6, 2011 at 01:52 PM Report Share Posted June 6, 2011 at 01:52 PM The back of every adapter should tell you the range of input voltages it accepts. By now, pretty much every adapter you'll find on such items is "universal voltage" (i.e. 100-240 CV). As others have mentioned your only potential issue would be the physical plug.
