Hi!

Can I use my supplied power adapters for iPhone and my Mac computer in Beijing?

Or do I have to buy new ones?

What's the voltage in Beijing?

Thanx in advance!

If you don't say what country you are from it will be difficult to know if your plugs will work :P

Voltage in China is generally 220V.

Oh, sorry I forgot to tell that I'm from Sweden. We have the same voltage in Sweden.

We have the same voltage in Sweden.

And most Beijing hotels will furnish adapters on request that you can use to help your plugs fit. If you move to an apartment, they are for sale for only 10 or 20 Yuan.

插座 = chāzuò is the most common term.

The back of every adapter should tell you the range of input voltages it accepts. By now, pretty much every adapter you'll find on such items is "universal voltage" (i.e. 100-240 CV). As others have mentioned your only potential issue would be the physical plug.
