The song's pinyin chorus is "Sum ser jer yik", it might be the song's title too. It starts with a harmonica tune and has no percussion, only bongo drums. It's a nice song/tune and I think it talks about the usual Sam Hui philosophical stuff. If anyone can find this song, I would really appreciate it. But words ending with "r" sound? If you can tell us what these four characters are (or what they mean) it would be helpful. You're probably right about the first character, meaning heart. The next two words sound like "smile" or "less" (cantonese pronounciation), and "chase". I'm not sure about the fourth word.
