Mrs.Almost Posted June 25, 2011 at 10:35 AM Report Posted June 25, 2011 at 10:35 AM I heard some people who got a Confucius Institute Scholarship for two year master degree and now studying in China said that they are in troble now, because HanBan will not provide them full scholarships anymore. They will be given scholarships based on their performances, only a few people who have a great score will still get full scholarships. Some will get partial scholarships, and others will not be granted scholarship anymore. Is it real?
zhilong Posted June 27, 2011 at 10:45 AM Report Posted June 27, 2011 at 10:45 AM I heard it too. it looks like they (Hanban) changed their rules for Scholarship program in this year.
BXD Posted March 7, 2019 at 09:50 AM Report Posted March 7, 2019 at 09:50 AM Hi @Mrs.Almost Generally, the Continuity of the Scholarship is based on the Performance in the previous year. But, as long as you maintain an above average score, there should be no problem. There is no need to worry, as long as you have a decent score. You can contact the Office of International Co-operation of your University for the criteria/ more information I hope this answers your query.
BXD Posted March 7, 2019 at 09:52 AM Report Posted March 7, 2019 at 09:52 AM Hi @Lu I just realized that this topic is quite old and it might be time to close it. Lu Posted March 7, 2019 at 09:56 AM Report Posted March 7, 2019 at 09:56 AM It is indeed so old that I'm surprised you found it and decided to post in it despite its age. I'll close it now, to avoid confusion.
