DCKelly09 Posted June 28, 2011 at 04:35 PM Report Posted June 28, 2011 at 04:35 PM I'm sorry if this is a repeat from a previous thread, I've search some of the forum but haven't been able to find this specific question. I have a 2 year job contract in Beijing. I'm getting a 30 day, single entry Z-visa, and my employer will then help me apply for a residential permit, which allows multiple entry for a year. So for "intended duration of stay" on my visa application, do I put the maximum for the Z-visa (30 days), or 2 years? I have all the paper work for the rest of the process (Work Permit, Foreign Expert's License), just a little unclear on this step. Thanks for the help! - Kelly Quote
stoney Posted June 28, 2011 at 04:43 PM Report Posted June 28, 2011 at 04:43 PM 2 years When I have gone to teach, I put 1 year for my intended duration of stay even though I initially only receive an short entry visa. Quote
Matty Posted June 29, 2011 at 12:21 AM Report Posted June 29, 2011 at 12:21 AM I don't think it will really matter a whole lot on the Z-Visa. But you can always do what I do and ask them at the counter, they always give the best answers since they're the ones who pass the forms around all day every day. Quote
