niubi Posted October 22, 2003 at 09:22 PM Report Posted October 22, 2003 at 09:22 PM just had a first listen to the new album 暮良文王 released by this studio combo. we all should know who dou wei is. i think wen bin is a keyboardist mainly by training (graduate of the yunnan arts academy if i recall correctly). wang xiaofang is the former drummer/singer of the all female rock band cobra and a classically (in the chinese tradition) trained in yangqin - chinese dulcimer. as far as i know its only available on joyo.com, but soon should be available dangdang and no doubt in local retail stores in china. actually i have to say that i downloaded mp3 of this album off the net. i do intend to buy an original copy. probably best described as chinese new age music, its not bad and certainly worth adding to your music collection. Tsunku Posted December 4, 2003 at 11:58 PM Report Posted December 4, 2003 at 11:58 PM I just downloaded this too and I really like like it. Very mellow and pretty music with a very Chinese feel to it. Good stuff. Quote
