Can somebody Please translate this tattoo for me?

I'd assume it's Japanese; I believe 姫 is the Japanese form of 姬 ?

Anyway, in Chinese, 姬德 would mean what, "virtuous prostitute"?

The two characters look to me like:

姬 ... pronounced in mandarin as "ji" in the high 1st tone ... meaning: "honorable woman; imperial concubine; (also used as a surname)"

德 ... pronounced in mandarin as "de" in the rising 2nd tone ... meaning: "morality; virtue"

I'm afraid I don't know enough to get any further meaning.

It could be the transliteration of a non-chinese name.

it could also be the name of a fictional character (see baike.baidu.com/view/4421831.htm ).

Sorry I can't be more help!

It would be kitoku in Japanese, most likely. Doesn't really seem too close to "Katie". It doesn't have any meaning, though, that I can see.
