New Members michellers11 Posted July 14, 2011 at 08:00 PM New Members Report Posted July 14, 2011 at 08:00 PM hi everyone.... i´m new in all this, and i have an offer from a recruiter called Panda education, as for now it is the one that offers the most consistent offer. Has anyone worked here that could give me any quick review? . I have been asked to arrive on an L visa that will be exchanged into a working visa , i´m not sure how to feel about this, because i have read in many forums that i should not accept this terms, and should only arrive to China holding an F visa, but i don´t have my tefl or tesol certification yet (which i was planning on getting in China). any comments or suggestions about my situation? by the way... it seems to be an outsourcing... it is not a school Quote
BrandeX Posted July 18, 2011 at 03:16 AM Report Posted July 18, 2011 at 03:16 AM In many (most?) cases, L visas can no longer be converted into work permits and people need to arrive on Z visas issued from their home country. Quote

BrandeX Posted July 20, 2011 at 12:49 AM Report Posted July 20, 2011 at 12:49 AM From their site: If and when you are in China and you decide to find a job here, a Visiting visa can easily be changed in to a residence visa with an expert certificate. This can be done without leaving the country as long as the company you are going to be working for has the correct license to employ foreigners and also an educational license. That is an outright lie, at the very least you would have to go to HK or a neighboring country and apply/approve/reenter on a Z visa which would be changed into a FEC. I would give them a miss. 1 Quote
