How to point to a post in another thread?

Hi,

I remember to have read somewhere how to do this but can't find it. Can someone please remind me? Basically, in your post, you want to refer to another post somewhere. How do you get/show precisely the address for that post?

And of course the side question: where do I get instructions how to do these things? Such a list of instruction seems to be hiding from me (I saw it before, if I'm not mistaken )
