Japanese Language/Studies Degree in Taiwan

Hi there

What's the best or a good Taiwan university program to study Japanese? Has anyone studied Japanese at any of Taiwan's university continuing education centers' in Taiwan? Can anyone share their experiences or ask their Taiwanese friends to share. What's the standard of Japanese being taught, and how recognised is a Japanese degree from Taiwan in Japan or elsewhere.

Think that a lot of Taiwan are learning Japanese as well, besides English.

Is Japanese used frequently and is there a chance of using the language outside the classroom besides language exchanges with Japanese students? Is there like a thriving Japanese Town or community in Taiwan?
