yellowpower Posted July 18, 2011 at 05:41 AM Report Posted July 18, 2011 at 05:41 AM Hi there appreciate if anyone can share their experiences of taking Advanced Chinese at BLCU. Is it true that BLCU has a separate track for Heritage Speakers (Chinese as a second language background)which differs from the regular classes? Interested in how classes are conducted, assessments, and the teaching methods (drills, speeches, vocab memorisation, drills, etc) Is it easy to change classes? How was the homework load and was it useful? What was the class size and how were the textbooks? Are there any specific courses that focused on developing writing skills (business communications, academic research papers, etc). And did they offered chinese history or chinese literature at the advanced level? Thanks for sharing. Quote
