The reason I want her to do this is that I trust her entirely, she works well, I've trained her so she knows the topic, and she just founded a company, which means she can give me the sacro-saint 发票！ I want to pay her decent money, while not giving my boss the impression that I'm just out there to help a friend out. The context is this: -Translation from French into Chinese -She majored in French, has done such type of translation before, knows the topic (wine) -She lives in a second-tier Chinese city -Our company is based in France My question is: how much do you think I should pay, and how do you pay a translator in China: by the word, the letter? Any help will be appreciated! Quote
