Admissions.cn - anyone know anything?

Does anyone know anything about, or has anyone used, Admissions.cn? They look like a similar deal to CUCAS (free applications though) but I can't find any information on who they actually are.

The website is a fairly standard application of Chinese web design mentality to English language content, and their 'about us' link doesn't seem to work.

I've only briefly checked out a random university, and it seems like a genuine website to provide information. For example the application process for Jilin University through the website, simply says to send your application directly to Jilin University. The price of tuition on admissions.cn is stated far less than the university website.

I'd be interested in how the high school/elementary programs work, but all the universities I have looked up say to send the applications to the school directly.

The site is poorly put together with outdated information...it has to be a government website.

I'd assume the tuition info is out of date then. My money is on it being a commercial site that hasn't been looked after.

Where would they be making money? I can't find it now, but CUCAS was recruiting English teachers.

All those banners on the home page may be paid for. Or they may just have *planned* to make money.
