Keown Posted July 20, 2011 at 04:07 PM Report Posted July 20, 2011 at 04:07 PM Hi, who has experience with both schools? What are the advantages and disadvantages each? As far as I understand CCNU might be better to learn Chinese but Wuhan University is one of the most prestigious in China... Quote
bunny87 Posted July 26, 2011 at 07:15 PM Report Posted July 26, 2011 at 07:15 PM well hello again. CUCAS says Wuhan is one of the prettiest environments too... did you sign up for the teach & study co-op program? (i'm interested in any WHU people giving insight about the college since i applied there too... still waiting on the response though) Quote

bunny87 Posted July 27, 2011 at 09:08 PM Report Posted July 27, 2011 at 09:08 PM i've been searching the internet to find pictures of the dorms of Wuhan University... i normally get some artistic black & white stuff that doesn't help me at all. still looking though. accomodation prices (i can afford them!) can be found here: dorms n food with the questions of the dorms, i came across this: 1. Bedding for self-financed students is equipped and delivered uniformly by Logistics Office, College of Foreign Students Education. - i read this stuff and think of the khruschevki's built for the USSR and laugh. in communist china, bed fix you! good or bad, i'll find out if/when i arrive, but nonetheless i love it. 2. Scholarship students can purchase bedding by themselves. They can also purchase it in Logistics Office, College of Foreign Students Education. (260 RMB for each set) - the question is, what exactly is "bedding" ? is it the mattress sets? Is it sheets and a blanket? is it pillows and pillowcases? is it the piece of furniture that holds the mattress? Quote
