Cyberian Posted December 17, 2004 at 06:36 AM Report Posted December 17, 2004 at 06:36 AM Hi, I need someone to translate the song names for me into English. I failed to understand it with the aid of a dictionary. Please ignore the abbreviation with numbers. They are for personal preference. gsy00: 世途上 gsy14: 一切也愿意 gsy15: 告别恋曲 syz12: 一起走过 Thanks in advance for helping. EDIT: These still need translating: syz04: 直来直往 gsy10: 缱绻星光下 Quote

marcopolo79 Posted December 17, 2004 at 09:51 AM Report Posted December 17, 2004 at 09:51 AM I can translate four of them: 告别恋曲 = Farewell Serenade, or perhaps parting from the serenade 一切也愿意 = I'll do anything (I'm willing to do anything) 世途上 = On the path of life/In the course of this lifetime/ 一起走过 = together we have gone I do hope you'll continue to post and won't become one of those ungratious schmucks who sign up just to use this board as a translation aide. Best of luck! Disclaimer: Translations might not be completely accurate under conditions other than the ones that prevail in my little brain. Quote

skylee Posted December 17, 2004 at 10:07 AM Report Posted December 17, 2004 at 10:07 AM I note that some are titles of Shirley Kwan's songs. Take a look at this webpage -> http://www.espace.org/albums/disco.html Consider (* are from the website) - 世途上 -> On the Road of Life* 繾綣星光下 -> Cuddling Under the Stars* 一切也願意 -> Willing to do anything/everything 告別戀曲 -> Farewell Love Song* 一起走過 -> Walk through together 直來直往 -> Directly Quote
marcopolo79 Posted December 17, 2004 at 10:07 AM Report Posted December 17, 2004 at 10:07 AM Oh, I'm sorry if I sounded rude , it's just that they're some people I feel who take advantage of the kind offers of free help on this board. They post and run, once they get whatever they need they disappear, I think it's inappropriate. Welcome to the board. Quote
Cyberian Posted December 17, 2004 at 10:25 AM Author Report Posted December 17, 2004 at 10:25 AM Thanks, Everyone! Took me by surprised that there is helpful and active members here. The traffic in ths forum is a bit low, so I figure I would not get an answer until a week or two later. To my suprise, I got an e-mail telling me there were replies shortly after posting. Holidays coming up, I am glad I found a place to hang out at and practice Chinese. Quote
