roddy Posted December 17, 2004 at 03:30 PM Report Posted December 17, 2004 at 03:30 PM Posted on behalf of Marco77, who's about to get an email asking him why he couldn't post it himself . . . Roddy Hi everybody, I am trying to translate a few short ads and it is much more difficult than I thought! Have a look: "Back the Bid" - regarding London bid to host the 2012 Olympic games "London's Transport Museum - Be Moved" - "Who nose how to cut through congestion? - No one knows noses like Otrivine" - ad for a nasal spray "Unwire your life @comet.co.uk" - ad from a computer shop, regarding Intel Centrino. Any thoughts on the above? Thank you! Quote

Claw Posted December 17, 2004 at 05:51 PM Report Posted December 17, 2004 at 05:51 PM "Who nose how to cut through congestion? - No one knows noses like Otrivine" I think this one is near impossible to translate because it relies on a pun that exists in English only (knows = nose). Quote
