taijidan Posted July 28, 2011 at 11:45 AM Report Share Posted July 28, 2011 at 11:45 AM When I got my iPhone last year for Pleco I was on the lookout for a decent social network game in chinese, but I couldn't find any and ended up getting hooked on one of the Storm8 games - Vampires. I just found this game over the weekend and it looks really good. It's a chinese game in a similar style to the storm8 games and has been released on iPhone and it looks like android as well. www.shoujisanguo.com. The theme is 3 Kingdoms. bunny87 Posted July 29, 2011 at 04:21 PM Report Share Posted July 29, 2011 at 04:21 PM i'm terribly afraid to start any games on a phone because it would lead to my addiction problem. solitaire used to hurt my grade much more than it should simply because it was with me everywhere... if there was a pokemon type of game in chinese, that would help. learning all the elements lol and basic words associated with said elements. oh, neopets would have me back in a heartbeat if i found out they had it in Chinese and working on iphones... pc games might be less dangerous. have you tried playing StarCraft in Chinese? someone offered it to me...but i don't know how much learning "zerg" "protoss" and "terran" in Chinese would assist in any situation other than nerd talk. Gleaves Posted July 29, 2011 at 05:24 PM Report Share Posted July 29, 2011 at 05:24 PM Thanks for the recommendation, taijidan. bunny - Many Pokemon (口袋妖怪) games are translated into Chinese. You could play the GBA versions on the computer with an emulator. Have a look at our gaming thread.

That's probably the most dangerous thread I've seen on this forum. it really is. pokemons, mmorpgs, final fantasy, and puzzles? i'm supposed to be an adult here and be productive and learn stuff! but ty for the heads up! I think i'll get one or two for the long plane ride to China. If/when I do, I'll post so on there
