Geiko Posted August 2, 2011 at 08:12 PM Report Posted August 2, 2011 at 08:12 PM 大家好!This is my first post here, although I've been reading this forum for a long time, I hope we can all learn from each other. A language school in my hometown offers Chinese courses (six different levels), and at the end of the 4th and 6th year they also issue official certificates, Intermediate and Advanced. I'm very curious to know more or less which HSK level would they each be, so I'd like you to have a look at two mock exams they have on their web page, and have a guess! I hope you find them a good practice 1. Intermediate exam: written test & answers, video (listening part), questions and answers. 2. Advanced exam: reading, video (listening) and questions, grammar in use and writing. (They haven't posted the answers for the advanced level. I hope all the links work properly... I'll really appreciate your opinions! By the way, you can compare both mock exams either with old or new HSK, just tell me which one you're thinking of. Quote
jkhsu Posted August 3, 2011 at 08:39 AM Report Posted August 3, 2011 at 08:39 AM Just taking a guess based on the reading / written tests only: 1. Intermediate exam = new HSK 3 to 4 2. Advanced exam = new HSK 5 Quote
Geiko Posted September 9, 2011 at 04:35 PM Author Report Posted September 9, 2011 at 04:35 PM Thanks for the answer, Jkhsu! Since I'm still preparing HSK 3, I thought these exams were much harder than HSK 4 and 6 respectively. Besides, I didn't understand a single word of the intermediate listening, and that depressed me a lot... I suppose it means I still have so much to learn... Quote
