Ian_Lee Posted April 3, 2006 at 06:09 AM Report Posted April 3, 2006 at 06:09 AM Anyone visiting Cheju (Jeju) should also visit the nearby Udo (Cow Island) by boat (just about 20 minutes away). Cheju is too commercialized while Udo retains all the traditional stuff such as the diving girls who dive down to the ocean floor to look for pearls. The island with the best scenery is Ulongdo off the east coast of Korea (about 4 hours by ferry). Quote
bhchao Posted April 3, 2006 at 03:46 PM Report Posted April 3, 2006 at 03:46 PM I love to visit Ulleungdo and have seen a lot of fantastic pictures. It is one of Korea's best kept secrets. Fortunately very few people know about it. Quote
Ian_Lee Posted April 25, 2006 at 10:07 PM Report Posted April 25, 2006 at 10:07 PM Ulongdo has a very beautiful Chinese name: 鬱陵島. It is awfully close to Dokdo. And the squid caught at around the waters of Ulongdo is very famous. Quote
