Areckx Posted August 23, 2011 at 03:01 AM Report Posted August 23, 2011 at 03:01 AM I know it might not be able to be found, since I don't know the title of the show, or really much about the content. But I may as well throw it out there. If you lived in Sonoma County in California, it used to air in 1997~1999 or so, I think every night at around 9pm or 8pm, maybe 10pm, 11pm on Tv50, an old PBS station. (They also used to show Urusei Yatsura in Japanese, Key the Metal Idol and Please Save My Earth in English. Urusei Yatsura was what got me into Japanese) It was set in a village where everyone wore really expensive silk, or at least looked that way, and everyone had long hair. I remember that because my older brother, younger sister and I would kind of just dub it ourselves by saying "Your hair is no match for mine!" "I have traveled far to obtain hair such as this" and so on... It was more of an everyday life, town-antics where the main character, a young man, would cause all sorts of trouble in an everyday sort of way. Quote
bunny87 Posted August 23, 2011 at 07:29 PM Report Posted August 23, 2011 at 07:29 PM perhaps you can email the tv channel and ask for the old listings / old tv guides. Quote
renzhe Posted August 23, 2011 at 10:26 PM Report Posted August 23, 2011 at 10:26 PM It was set in a village where everyone wore really expensive silk, or at least looked that way, and everyone had long hair. It could be virtually any costume drama, there are millions of them. Can you be more specific? Quote

Areckx Posted August 25, 2011 at 02:56 AM Author Report Posted August 25, 2011 at 02:56 AM I think I found one that had a similar looking character, "Crazy Monk" or something, but I don't think it was about martial arts. I was 9 or 10 years old, I think I'll just have to wait until I stumble upon it through my searches. Quote
