Hi,

I got to Beijing a few days ago (to study for a year) and I still don't have a Chinese name.

My name is Ren and I was wondering if 德仁 would be considered a good name, or if it has some other meanings that I may not be aware of.

Any comments would be gratefully received.

Thanks.

It is also apparently the name of the crown prince of Japan, Naruhito. So keep that in mind.

It is good except the name is little too formal. We often use the two words for moral or ethnical puropose. They are apparently reminding me of Confucius. It is no problem at all if you only use one of them in your name. But if you use both... um... it really sounds like Emporor in Japan...
