At the moment i'm thinking of sichuan university, bejing language and culture university or beijing institute of economic management. anyone got any views on them. Whats the BLCU accomodation like, how do the shared bedooms work out. i can recommend the course i'm on at the mo at the Hangzhou university of commerce, the teachers are great and theres a good atmosphere. thanks for your help Quote
Tsunku Posted October 28, 2003 at 01:29 PM Report Posted October 28, 2003 at 01:29 PM I studied in Kunming and my Chinese is no worse for it. Maybe it is better to start off someplace else if you're a real beginnner, but you've been in China awhile studying already so you should be fine. They're still going to teach you standard Mandarin in the school, you'll just get exposed to more a more regional way of speaking outside of class. Quote
Guest anne.chen Posted November 6, 2003 at 12:08 PM Report Posted November 6, 2003 at 12:08 PM It doesn't really matter about which school/uni you choose, but I think you have to choose a univ/school that doesn't have too many students from your country, so you'll be forced to use chinese all the times.
