my father left me this teapot and i wonder about its significance

i know a few things about asian arts but not a lot of specific knowledge. my dad left me a bunch of items, some of which have turned out to be very valuable. i can identify just about everything, but this little teapot has me stumped. mainly i wonder how the characters translate and what the little red swastikas might mean.

Don't know what the words say but the Swastika probably means Buddhism. Here's the Wikipedia link:
