New Members MissTina Posted September 20, 2011 at 09:01 AM New Members Report Posted September 20, 2011 at 09:01 AM I'm planing on going to China with my sister at the end of this year or the start of next year (still sketching the dates). How long in advance can you apply to the school? And how long before starting study can you get your visa and go over? Basically if I apply to HIT for March will I have any issues going over the end of this year or the very start of next year? Are those few extra months settling in fine? How long before the start of term date can I apply to HIT? Has anyone else studied at HIT? Quote
roddy Posted September 20, 2011 at 12:21 PM Report Posted September 20, 2011 at 12:21 PM Your student visa won't allow you to spend a few months settling in before starting study. Sounds like a better plan would be to come on a tourist visa, extend that if and when necessary, and covert the tourist visa to a student visa at the start of the semester. Check with the school, but that should be fine. No idea when HIT will start to accept applications. 1 Quote
