Gharial Posted October 20, 2011 at 09:21 AM Report Share Posted October 20, 2011 at 09:21 AM Sure, there's a way to save them: when you click on any one of the nine very small gif thumbnails in the post, they'll open up and expand into the full-size viewer thingy integral to the forums. If you then look at the bottom-right corner of that full-size view, you will see the word (and a floppy-disk symbol for) 'Save'. Left-clicking on that opens up a separate window that allows zooming between a mid- and full-size view, and that also allows you to right-click on the image and thus 'Save Image As...'. As for printing, once you've saved the gifs to your PC you can either 1) copy and paste them into Word and print from the resulting document (whether simply open or from 'Print Preview') if you want a somewhat larger though slightly fuzzier "font", or 2) print directly from e.g. Windows Picture and Fax Viewer previews (which open up from a simple right-click > 'Preview' on the saved gifs) if you don't mind a slightly smaller yet crisper "font". NB: Printing directly from the separate window mentioned in the preceding paragraph (even when zoomed in) will result in a very small print size, so it's definitely best to save the gifs before printing them off. I look forward to hearing your impressions of the course (but please don't feel that you need to get back to me immediately, or with a ton of feedback - just a few thoughts at some point will do just fine ).
