cellphone ring-back tone of China mobile

Hi there,

I'm 5 weeks in Shanghai now, and I'm starting to fall in love with the cellphone ring-back tone of China mobile.

You know, when you call someone, you don't hear the casual '''beep beep beep'''. But you get a nice melody.

I would like to know which one it is (and maybe also where I can download it).

The goal would be to use it as a ringtone, a bit like applying reverse psychology .

There will be different ones for different provinces and so on (if you're on a cheap plan people calling you may hear adverts). See if you can record a bit and post it.

@imron Oh my God, this song brings back memories. In one of the hotels I stayed at in Chengdu they played this in a skipping 30 second loop in the dining room, drove me absolutely bonkers.

Which one? I can select a new one each month, it's included in my package. (or was it 10 a month?)

I can go onto the China Mobile site and select one, though I've not bothered to switch to a new one yet.
