roddy Posted January 4, 2005 at 12:08 PM Report Posted January 4, 2005 at 12:08 PM Those of us studying on the mainland - what do you think are the best locally produced Chinese textbooks which are difficult or impossible to get hold of abroad? I think my list would be pretty well summed up in this post, so I won't add any more here. Reason I'm asking is that I was contacted by an online retailer asking if I wanted to join their affiliate program - when I said it was because they didn't have the products I'd be interested in selling they asked if I could recommend some - so this may be a chance to make these materials a bit more available to the broad masses (and I won't say no to any affiliate income either) Roddy Quote
yonglan Posted January 18, 2005 at 01:52 PM Report Posted January 18, 2005 at 01:52 PM What's in it for me Seriously, though, if they're looking only for textbooks for foreigners I can't help as there does not exist a single such book in my city. If they'd like me to recommend books in general for 老外僑, well, what's in it for me? I'd be happy to recommend a few things (just a few so far, more later I hope) that I think are neat, and they haven't even made it to my web site yet. But they're not specifically for foreigners, just stuff that I think is good for learning (ie in Chinese, for Chinese, but laowai friendly). Quote
